Can you beleive this! This is my wife's and I's first house, we put ourselves into a lot of debt to get this, hope's, dreams, everything. Three months into the renovation the plasterer decides he's not gonna finish the job and leaves his job half done! Not only that he's already been paid, and refuses to give us any money back, does the law give us any protection? Does it hell! There's not a damn thing we can do about it except take him to the small claims court where IF we're found to be in the right, he can pay up back at the amazing rate of £2 a week!
